Sacred Geometry

The word geometry originates from the Greek terms “geo” = Earth and “metri” = Measure and means the teaching of shape, proportion and relation of figures. The word “sacred” in this content meaning “whole”, “entire” or “complete” describes its property of the emerging out of itself and that it is not man-made. The term “Sacred Geometry” is usually found in context with religious constructions, such as churches, temples and sacred sites, as well as religious art. The creators of these religious constructions, sites and artworks have considered the proportions, properties and effects of geometry and used them as the basis for their planning.

Nevertheless the understanding of geometry as a natural principle of ordering and structuring reaches far deeper. When we observe the many shapes and forms in nature, we can conclude that despite their varieties, they all have certain proportions or principles in common. But where does this similarity come from? What is at the very beginning that created and affected all this?

Recognizing these underlying universal patterns, it becomes obvious that geometry is the primordial language of nature and creation. It is one of the fundamental principles of the creation process and becomes visible in the countless manifestations within the known universe. Everything that has shape and form, follows a certain blueprint that is governed by or has emerged out of the principles of geometry and vibration. At the very fundamental level there are simple principles, relations and systems. The further down from the source, the more these principles interchange and create complexity and variability. They become the blueprint for the manifold planes based on frequency, the countless dimensions and all the beings and manifestations within them.
